Our Mentors
Sarah Butler, Metalsmith/Graphic Designer
“Do what you can with what you have.”
Growing up in the heart of the Rocky Mountains marked a distinct visual signature on the elemental factor of Sarah Butler’s designs. Using light and space as defining boundaries in her pieces, she produces an organic style that is inspired by nature while maintaining the inherent influences of other acquired experiences within her lifetime.
Sarah is an exceptionally innovative and multitalented Metalsmith with distinctive experience in marketing and design. She is an innovative creator of design solutions with an appreciation for the finished product. From graphics to cocktail rings, all of her custom creations embody the essence of the purveyor , seamlessly conveying their necessity and desire.
Having gained her Metalsmithing expertise under the study of Bryan Peterson, she continued to refine her skills mastering the art of fine Stone Setting with the accomplished Goldsmith Blaine Lewis.
The innate need to help those who cannot help themselves was emphasized in Sarah’s adolescence by her parents. She quickly adapted to the rewarding responsibility and continues to foster a life of philanthropy and volunteerism.
After serendipitously accepting an offer to become part of JAMAH and In True Fashion, Sarah couldn’t be more enchanted watching the facets of her hard work and experience culminate in a crown of opportunity. For this, she is profoundly grateful.
Claudia Endler, Owner/Designer of Claudia Endler Designs
“To create, to learn, to grow, to connect.”
Claudia Endler is passionate about modern jewelry, art, architecture, design and self-expression. After a successful career as a designer representative in the fashion industry, Claudia’s passions and talents collided, culminating in the formation of Claudia Endler Designs, one of Los Angeles’ leading contemporary jewelry design enterprises.
By combining elements from graphic design, art and architecture, the essence of Claudia’s jewelry designs is to illuminate the unique qualities that define each person, individually. Claudia’s designs offer distinctive alternatives to the traditional matrimonial fare.
“Timeless and infinitely modern jewelry” is how Claudia describes the style of her work, creating mostly custom pieces aimed at revealing subtle aspects of an individual’s taste, personality and desires. When designed to such personal specifications, it shows the wearer’s confidence, and that, she says, “is truly sexy.”
Claudia was awarded the 2009 Phyllis Morris Award in Design and her designs have received critical acclaim, including other prestigious design awards and nominations. Additionally, she has been featured on My Fox L.A.’s Jewelry Designer Hot List and in Colored Stone magazine’s Favorite Designer. Dorene Lehavi, Business Coach, Mentor and Advisor
“We are all much more than we think we are.”
Dr. Dorene Lehavi, Ph.D, was exposed to business partnerships from birth. Two of Dorene’s family members ran a successful plumbing supply business throughout her childhood. She saw the partners interact warmly at family gatherings, however, even as a child, her intuition told her that things could be fixed to make the partnership relationship more successful. She knew one partner, her Grandfather, to be softspoken about things that annoyed him and his partner, her Great Uncle, on the other hand, was much more outspoken and aggressive. She now realizes, that if they had a coach, how much more lucrative their business could have been.
Dorene saw firsthand many other partnerships succeed. One partnership established by two brothers was busy and profitable until it was eventually sold to a large corporation.
Later in life she unofficially consulted with her husband as he, along with his business partner, ran a very successful retail chain store for nearly 2 decades. Dorene was also exposed to disastrous partnerships, such as when she heard about her cousin’s business partner embezzling money.
Since then, Dorene has spent more than 25 years helping clients achieve their “Next Level” of success.
